Q. What do you guys sell when it's not Halloween? How do you stay in business the rest of the year?
A. Believe it or not, there are other Holidays in the year that would require costumes. There is Easter (Easter Bunny Costumes as well as Church Plays), Purim (the Jewish costumed holiday), Mardi Gras (masks, beads, etc.), Valentine's Day (cupid, sexy costumes), 4th of July (Uncle Sam, Statue of Liberty), Mermaid Parade (pirates, mermaids, fish hats), Back to School (school plays), Thanksgiving (pilgrim, native american, turkeys), Christmas (Santa Suits, Elves, Reindeer, as well as church plays, Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, Angels, etc.)
We are also in the city that never sleeps; people throw theme parties every other day! This is also the biggest theater town there is! People need costumes and props and makeup and fog machines for all sorts of things.
